Disaster Recovery (DR) is far from becoming a defacto for most organisations in India. A pioneer of end to end DRM Companytechnology – Sanovi Technologies caters to 100+ enterprise customers in India and Middle East. Ashis Guha, President –Global Sales, Sanovi Technologies spoke to CIO India on why DRM is on a ‘slow and steady’ adoption phase by the Indian CIOs.
What are the prime hindrances for DR to surface as a priority for Indian CIOs?
Most enterprises view DRM (Disaster Recovery Management) as a ‘good to have’ product and not necessarily a ‘must to have’ one. Banking & Financing clearly understand the value proposition of data availability and hence they are the early adopters. We have nearly hundred percent share for DRM across this segment in India.
