Senior Software Engineer - Development:
Sanovi™ Engineering is looking for Senior Developers who will serve as the hands-on lead of a small and high-powered technical team that is responsible for designing & developing the business continuity solution modules for enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
• Drive the design, development, integration, delivery and evolution of the business continuity solution modules of the product
• Work closely with product management, customer support, other engineering teams and SQA to continuously evolve and improve the enterprise class data recovery and management software and system infrastructure of the product
• Maintain efficient and effective communication and collaboration with other engineering teams and SQA to manage dependencies and deliverables between various groups and to ensure end to end integration and quality
• Ensure robust, safe, securely accessible, highly available and highly scalable product that meets or exceeds customer and end-user expectations
Professional Background – Required
• B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A • 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience in core Java, with focus on SQL databases
(MS SQL Server/ Oracle / Sybase / DB2) application development using vendor provided programming APIs
• Should be experienced in designing products using Java in a multi-threaded environment. Strong
understanding of design patterns, UML is a plus
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem solving skills; excellent communication skills, hard working
and team player.
• Proven ability to communicate concise information to staff, clients, and management
Professional Background – Desirable
• Experience in scripting languages such as TCL, Perl or similar, for task automation of proactive monitoring,
backup and recovery
• Experience in developing enterprise systems management software
• Strong understanding of high availability and disaster recovery architectures for databases/applications
• In depth knowledge and practical experience in backup/recovery and protection mechanisms
• Knowledge of storage technologies like Replication, Volume Management, Backup and Snapshots
Software Engineer - Development
Sanovi™ Engineering is looking for Software Engineers who will be part of a small and high-powered technical team that is responsible for designing & developing the business continuity solution modules for enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
• Understand functional specifications and implement them
• Use best practices/process for coding and unit/integration testing.
• Identification and use of appropriate design patterns for the various requirements
• Team player with ability to communicate at all levels of development process
• Participate and contribute in activities such as estimation and technical discussions across the organization
Professional Background – Required
• B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A
• 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience in core Java development
• Knowledge in JDBC programming and SQL
• Understanding and creation of UML, sequence and class diagrams
Professional Background – Desirable
• Experience in Network and distributed programming
• In depth knowledge of one of Oracle/SQLServer/Sybase database

Senior DR Verification Engineer - SQA
Sanovi™ Engineering is looking for Senior SQA engineers who will be part of the Quality Assurance team that is responsible for testing the business continuity solution modules for enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
• Have primary line responsibility for the quality levels of the product
• Understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, review peer test cases
• Test the functionality of new or modified systems, test system integration with internal applications to
ensure compatibility, and work with development team to understand and resolve issues.
• Execute Manual and Automated product test suites
• Use defect tracking application to track and communicate issues.
• Contribute ideas and insights to new policies and procedures.
• Interface with project teams to ensure adequate testing of software features, create test documents,
and plan and conduct complex software testing activities.
• Utilize significant professional competencies to complete assignments, provide input for project design,
development and schedule, and provide key input to technical decisions and recommend action plans.
Professional Background – Required
• B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A
• 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in software testing
• Experience in Windows and Unix platforms
Professional Background – Desirable
• QA certifications and testing related trainings
• Exposure to database administration of RDBMS like Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase
• Exposure to Storage technologies and replication solutions from Hitachi, EMC etc
