Sanovi Technologies appoints Ramesh Narasimhan as President – Middle East & APAC

Sanovi Technologies, Inc. the leading provider of Business Continuity and IT Recovery Management Software, as part of its expansion plans, has announced the appointment of Ramesh Narasimhan, a 25-year experienced industry leader from IBM, as the President for Middle East & APAC regions. It also announced the promotion of Amarjeet Gill to an independent role for India/SAARC business as VP of Sales and Alliances that includes all Sales, Technical Sales and Partnerships.
 
Ramesh joins Sanovi from IBM where he worked for more than 21 years in various leadership roles across the India/South Asia region. Ramesh is responsible for growing Sanovi’s business in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions including Sales and Service Delivery. In addition, he will also drive the growth of RaaS (Recovery-as-a-Service) business through partnerships with Cloud Service Providers, Managed Service Providers and Resellers across all markets in the region including India.
 
Ramesh’s lengthy career of 21 years at IBM was anchored around two major roles–running Sales and Services P&Ls for large businesses and regions. These roles included leading IBM’s Integrated Technology Services (ITS) for India and ASEAN/South Asia and General Business for India/South Asia – a business that contributed to almost half of IBM India revenues. In senior leadership roles in the outsourcing services business, Ramesh managed IBM’s large outsourcing contract with Vodafone and a cross-industry portfolio of outsourced clients in India. He has worked in various locations including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Singapore. Prior to joining IBM in 1992, Ramesh began his career with HCL Limited-Computer Division in 1989 and served in various sales roles.
 
In a related development, Sanovi also announced the promotion of Amarjeet Gill to an independent business role as VP of Sales and Alliances for India/SAARC region. In this role, Amarjeet is responsible for enterprise sales, channels, partnerships and technical sales activities for the region and directly reports to the CEO.
